The spectacular frescoes and iconostasis of the Church of Elijah the Prophet in Yaroslavl, Russia. Established in 1010, this important “Golden Ring” Russian city is located at the confluence of the Volga and the Kotorosl Rivers. The historic city center, home to many landmark buildings, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
