Virginia Rocca Barton Elementary School Principal Jose Juan Urquizo high-fives student Michelle Becerra, who is turning in good behavior points at the front desk. In an effort to end violence and bullying in schools, volunteers from Restorative Justice Partners, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, helped teach administrators and students at Virginia Rocca Barton mediation skills, creating alternative ways to resolve disputes and foster empathy, accountability and fairness.
