A wedding party on its way to leave flowers at the Eternal Flame memorial in Yaroslavl, which commemorates the millions of Russian soldiers and civilians killed in World War II. Yaroslavl, which recently celebrated its 1000th anniversary, is located at the confluence of the Volga and the Kotorosl Rivers. The historic city center, home to many landmark buildings, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
