Technicians check Sean Tucker's Oracle Challenger Pitts biplane before this weekend's California International Airshow Salinas. The exhibition featured state-of-the-art precision flying from the US Air Force Thunderbirds, Canada's CF-18 demonstration team and the civilian Patriots jet team. Both days of the show highlighted aerobatic routines from Tucker, Jacquie Warda and Kent Pietsch, aerial tributes to flying legends Clay Lacy and Bob Hoover, and plenty of static aircraft displays for the whole family.
