Families listen to Bible readings during a candlelight procession that began at dusk. In a touching final celebration of All Soul’s Day on Saturday night, hundreds of congregants came to Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Salinas to attend mass and offer their prayers. Friends and family members sat by the graves of loved ones, many of which were decorated with traditional Day of the Dead marigolds, photographs of the departed, and things that were their favorites in life.
