Human rights advocate Martin Luther King III delivers a moving speech to a huge crowd at the Lincoln Memorial. On Friday, August 28th, 2020, thousands of people from all over the country attended the Commitment March in Washington, D.C. to fight for criminal justice reform in solidarity with those who have lost loved ones at the hands of the police and to push for federal legislation against misconduct. The event, organized by the Reverend Al Sharpton and the National Action Network under the rallying call ‘Get Your Knee Off Our Necks,’ coincides with and honors the 57th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s March on Washington, where he delivered his historic “I Have A Dream” speech in 1963.
