Sunday’s well-attended 2nd Annual Monterey County Veteran’s Day Parade in Oldtown Salinas saw flag-waving crowds lining South Main Street, paying tribute to US servicemen and women in uniform. Featuring marching bands, vintage vehicles, and lots of patriotic floats, the 2012 parade was organized by American Legion Post 31, the Women's Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and local VFWs.
