Members of the Alisal Teachers Association and the California School Employees Association picket outside Bardin Elementary School before a scheduled meeting of the Alisal School Board on Wednesday, October 9th in Salinas. Teachers were protesting the cancellation of school board meetings, and the lack of adequate textbooks and classroom materials for the 2013/2014 school year.
