  • Close to 9,000 local and international runners participated in the 12th annual presentation of the Big Sur Half Marathon on Sunday in Monterey. In support of their athletes, family and friends lined the scenic course, which winds along Monterey Bay from El Estero Park to Pacific Grove and back, finishing at Fisherman’s Wharf.
