  • A vocal group of protesters gathered at noon on Sunday, Nov 13th to denounce Donald Trump’s racist, misogynistic comments in the weeks preceding the presidential election. Representing youth across the spectrum, the group in front of City Hall in Salinas demanded equality and respect.

With several huge inflatable obstacle courses, an electronic games trailer, indoor archery and arcades, glow-stick art, sumo wrestling, raffles, and even a bike rodeo emphasizing safety, the event encouraged healthy fun and community spirit. Kids were provided transportation from the Hebbron Family Center, adding friendships to the mix.
